About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tennis Center in Flushing, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a premier tennis venue, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist guests and staff with professionalism, and communicate clearly while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, athletes, staff, and event attendees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of tennis facilities, event areas, entrances, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and credential screening procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
Assist with crowd management and directional support during events, helping maintain an orderly environment for guests and staff.
