About The Position

As a Security Officer Television Network Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report maintenance, access, and/or life-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to site rules and property protocols.
• Assist with security-related presence during tenant operations, deliveries, and/or special activities, helping to address questions, provide directions, and report suspicious or disruptive behavior.
