About The Position

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned post orders within a technology and media-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, employees, and/or local responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas for access control concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues, and document observations through required reporting procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities and business continuity efforts by following established instructions, providing direction to occupants and visitors, and reporting developing conditions in a timely manner.
