Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communication with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
Communicate professionally with all individuals entering or exiting the location, providing information and assistance as needed.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.
