Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Tech Campus in Playa Vista, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming guests and assisting employees while monitoring access and managing security-related protocols. You will help to deter incidents through your presence and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the premises.
- Verify identification and credentials for all individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
- Provide customer service by assisting with inquiries and directing visitors as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of visitor and employee entry and exit, and/or other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
- Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, reporting any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
