About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Front Desk in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access, managing badges, and responding to alarms, all while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with visitor management, including issuing visitor badges and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site policies.
Support emergency response activities and coordinate communication with appropriate personnel when needed.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through professional presence and attention to detail.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
