About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tactical Monitor in Tolleson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access activity and respond professionally to concerns while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, collaborates closely, and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document the movement of authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Observe and report hazards, suspicious activity, property damage, and policy violations, and maintain clear incident and patrol records.
