About The Position

The security division of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Department of Public Safety concentrates on the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within the hospital and on campus. The department provides field officers, Bike and mobile patrol, investigators, and a communication unit for monitoring alarm systems and dispatching officers to service and emergency calls. All officers are required to complete annual training that focuses on health care security. Participates in the planning, installation, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance of access control, alarm monitoring, and emergency communication security systems.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2-5 years of experience
No Supervisor Experience

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree in Information Systems/related field

Responsibilities

Documents process flows, tracks work requests and completes enhancements for vendor-delivered products and systems.
Analyzes, develops and creates work plans that allow for successful integration and interfacing of various software and hardware systems.
Ensures service tickets logged by end users are resolved according to service-level agreement quality standards.
Implements vendor upgrades. Uses vendor-delivered report writers to create ad-hoc reports.
