As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or post orders.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or access-control concerns.
Monitor access points and perform entry and exit control as assigned, including verifying identification, checking authorized access lists, and directing visitors and deliveries to the appropriate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services per protocol and assisting with evacuations or traffic control as directed.
Complete routine reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate unusual activity to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
