About The Position

As a Security Officer - SOC Operator in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch professional at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate communications, monitor incoming information, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will help maintain clear records, provide exceptional customer service, and work closely with onsite teams to help deter incidents. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize service requests, and coordinate the deployment of security-related personnel to incidents, alarms, and routine calls throughout the commercial real estate location.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports; communicate pertinent information to supervisors and responding personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures and contacting emergency services when required.
  • Monitor cameras, access-control systems, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
