Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working with integrity and teamwork to create a welcoming presence for employees, visitors, and drivers.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or operational disruptions.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and/or policy violations, and communicate with site contacts and local responders when needed.
• Support truck gate and facility access operations by checking credentials, directing visitors and/or deliveries, and maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
