About The Position

Securitas is expanding its team at a busy retail property in Lake Grove, NY, and is looking for dependable, professional Security Officers and an experienced Site Supervisor. This is an opportunity to work in a professional retail security environment with consistent schedules and multiple shift options. Security Officers play an important role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. The Site Supervisor will help lead the team, support daily operations, and serve as a key point of contact at the property.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience (for Security Officer).
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in security or a related field; OR 5 years of security experience as a Lead Officer, Shift Supervisor, or comparable leadership position (for Site Supervisor).
• Active New York State Security Guard License.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills (for Site Supervisor).
• Comfortable using basic computer systems (for Site Supervisor).
• Weekend and evening availability (for Site Supervisor).
