As a Security Officer Site Response in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and help address security-related concerns through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support site access protocols and traffic flow at docks, gates, and other key points.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and Allied Universal leadership regarding routine activity, incidents, and/or operational concerns that may affect daily site operations.
