As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Have at least two years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Support traffic flow and delivery activity at designated entry points, provide directions, and report suspicious activity, equipment concerns, or policy violations.
