As a Security Officer Patrol Observer in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and reporting them to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor information, and help to enforce site rules for personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries.
  • Observe workplace conditions and unusual activity, communicate clearly with employees and supervisors, and complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activity, and security-related events.
