About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain orderly operations.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant information to property representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
