Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting dynamic manufacturing, industrial, and distribution locations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first while demonstrating integrity and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and support visitor, contractor, and/or delivery access processes in accordance with location protocols.
  • Support loss prevention and operational continuity by reporting hazards, equipment issues, damaged barriers, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and routine post duties.
