As a Security Officer Security Clearance Field Patrol in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a technology-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, document observations, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
