As a Dispatcher supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarms and access activity, and dispatch personnel in response to security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications through dispatch systems, including receiving calls, documenting requests, and relaying information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, escalating unusual activity or operational concerns to site leadership as appropriate.
  • Support access control and security-related operations by monitoring cameras, alarms, and communications equipment and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
