Requirements

Two or more years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge and entry procedures, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing routine reports, and following Allied Universal standards for assigned duties and post orders.
