As a Security Officer Secret Clearance - Unarmed in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
