Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will interact with passengers, visitors, and staff while delivering strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, transit areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces while assisting with directions, visitor interactions, and compliance with location rules and procedures.
  • Document routine activities, unusual occurrences, and/or maintenance or security-related issues, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
