Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen individuals and packages, and support badge and access control processes. This role combines customer service, communication, and attention to detail to help promote a secure environment. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
  • Verify identification, credentials, and/or shipment documentation before permitting access to restricted areas, loading zones, and/or operational spaces.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through the appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
