As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Monroe, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will help support a secure and welcoming environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal items in accordance with established entry procedures, verifying identification, credentials, and authorization before permitting access.
  • Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections as authorized, documenting prohibited or restricted items and reporting concerns through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a professional, orderly location.
