About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Niles, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Screener supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials; monitoring access points; and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the facility in accordance with access control requirements and site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, inspect authorized items as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
