About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Patrol Evenings in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document authorized movement of people, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site policies.
• Perform screening activities for personnel, personal property, shipments, and/or deliveries to help support security-related operations within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required logs, systems, and/or communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas, including interior workspaces, trailer yards, docks, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
