About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or equipment entering designated areas in accordance with site protocols, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor processing activities, and credential verification procedures to help support authorized access within a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that may impact daily operations and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
