As a Security Officer Screening Driver in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, conduct screening activities, and support smooth site operations. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to stay active, interact with people throughout the day, and deliver professional service. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Have customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and documented procedures, and report unusual findings to site leadership.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas such as loading zones, sort areas, and shipping/receiving spaces.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting activity and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for suspicious activity, damaged barriers, and/or policy violations in indoor and outdoor working conditions.
