About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Compliance in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors and personnel, verifying access, monitoring entry points, and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and personal belongings in accordance with established access-control and screening protocols; identify and report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy concerns.
  • Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to controlled areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Maintain accurate screening logs, incident reports, and access-related documentation while conducting regular and random patrols of assigned entry points and surrounding areas.
