As a Security Officer Screening Checkpoint in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, organized environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen individuals, deliveries, and selected items entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
