Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support security-related operations through strong communication and attention to detail. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols as needed, and deliver customer service with a caring, agile, and reliable approach while working as part of a team that values integrity and innovation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings at designated entry points in accordance with site procedures and escalate concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, reviewing delivery documentation, and directing visitors and drivers to the proper areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, remaining aware of loading areas, trailer yards, and other high-traffic locations where working conditions may vary.
