Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, and support smooth daily operations. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen people, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports related to daily screening operations.
