As a Security Officer Screening Analyst in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen people and property, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate channels.
  • Monitor assigned entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipment documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
