As a Security Officer Routine Patrol in Chillicothe, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use strong customer service and communication skills while documenting activity on a computer or tablet. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
