Job Description As a Security Officer - Route Patrol Driver in Saint Peters, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and vehicle rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while supporting daily operations.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate contacts as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing traffic flow as needed.
- Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, access activity, incidents, and other security-related observations, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
