About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Route Patrol in TREVOSE , PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors and/or visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, property-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of commercial buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disturbances, and/or property issues, and requesting public services when needed.
  • Control access to the property by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and observations; communicate noteworthy activity to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
