About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Saint Charles, Missouri, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, respond professionally to security-related concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to help support a welcoming environment. The role involves working Wednesday through Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $18.19 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and problem-solve during incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior workspaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to identify unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures to help maintain an orderly environment for authorized personnel and guests.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications related to patrols, incidents, and security observations.
