About The Position

As a Security Officer - Risk Prevention Patrol in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unusual activity or facility conditions to site leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
