About The Position

Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests, tenants, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, support access control practices, and report concerns according to post instructions.
• Support retail and mall operations by assisting with crowd management, directional guidance, and/or customer inquiries while maintaining awareness of security-related issues across the location.
