Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card is required
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols, documenting findings and reporting concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through the proper chain of command when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support access control and visitor processing by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and maintaining accurate logs of screening activity and unusual events.
