Security Officer - Retail Patrol Full-Time
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Full-Time in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist guests and store teams with clear communication and service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and support a positive shopping experience. Requirements
- Guard Card/License preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid preferred.
- Customer Service Experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, common areas, entrances, receiving areas and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, potential theft and/or disorderly conduct and report observations to management and Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete required reports such as incident reports, daily activity logs and/or maintenance and hazard notifications using written and/or electronic systems.
