As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and document security-related activity. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech corporate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and interior areas for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance issues, alarms, and other concerns through approved communication channels.
  • Complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs with clear, accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal requirements and site guidelines.
