About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring access points, high-traffic areas, and other security-related concern areas.
• Support property personnel with security-related requests, assist with directions and general information, and document incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
