As a Patrol Officer in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with guests and staff. This position requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized access.
Work collaboratively with store personnel to address security-related concerns and support loss prevention efforts.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and a security-related presence to customers and staff within the retail environment.
