About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Retail in Redondo Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns within the property.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as required.
Support emergency response activities according to site protocols, including guiding occupants during evacuations or other critical events.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management, providing updates as necessary.
