As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will patrol retail and mall locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, incident reporting, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of neighborhood retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and maintenance-related issues to designated personnel.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
