As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document security-related observations, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable culture through teamwork, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
