As a Security Officer Residential Weekend in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
