As a Screener in a residential community, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening of individuals entering the residential community, verifying identification and/or authorization as required by site procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting residents, guests, and visitors with inquiries and information related to access control.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and other relevant activities as required.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or onsite supervisors regarding any security-related concerns or unusual occurrences.
