About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Screening in Fall River, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification and credentials, following established protocols for access control.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with visitors, employees, and site management to convey information and enforce rules as needed.
  • Document all screening activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
  • Remain alert to suspicious behaviors and/or items, reporting concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as required by the site, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
