About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Screening in Fall River, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification and credentials, following established protocols for access control.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site protocols.
Communicate clearly with visitors, employees, and site management to convey information and enforce rules as needed.
Document all screening activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Remain alert to suspicious behaviors and/or items, reporting concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Participate in regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as required by the site, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
